    Licúa los tomates, diente de ajo, media cebolla, unas ramitas de cilantro previamente lavadas y desinfectadas, chile verde (si lo prefieres menos picoso retira las semillas con ayuda de una cuchara), agrega medio litro de agua y licúa hasta que quede todo perfectamente triturado.
  3. Pon a calentar un poco de aceite en un sartén y sofríe la salsa, añade más agua y sazona con una cucharada de consomé de pollo en polvo. Deja que la salsa hierva y tome color.
  4. Cuando esté hirviendo añade unas ramitas de cilantro y el epazote, deja sazonar unos 5 a 7 minutos más, prueba la salsa para rectificar el sabor, aún no añadas más sal o consomé ya que los totopos tienen sal.
  5. Añade poco a poco los totopos a la salsa, y ahora sí añade un poco de sal o consomé si hace falta, ya casi están listos!!!
  6. La tortilla se humedece rápidamente es el momento de apagar si te gustan los chilaquiles crujientes.
  7. Para servir coloca los chilaquiles en un plato, añade crema fresca, queso desmoronado, la cebolla en juliana y unas hojitas de cilantro para darle color.
  8. Puedes acompañar los chilaquiles con huevo, carne asada, o pollo deshebrado. Un bolillo tostado es buena compañía también.
